If you are an adult living with moderate to severe eczema, (also known as atopic dermatitis) you are not alone. Eczema effects millions of people.
The RADIANT study is seeking adults with moderate to severe eczema in the US and Canada to evaluate an investigational oral medication called ASN002 as a treatment for eczema.
Participants receive study-related care and investigational medication from a local doctor at no cost and may be compensated for their time and travel. At the end of the study, participants may be eligible to participate in a follow-up study, which would allow participants to continue to receive the study medication at no cost.
You may qualify for the RADIANT study if you:
Are between 18 and 75 years old
Have chronic moderate to severe eczema (atopic dermatitis)
Your eczema seems irritated (red, rather than your regular skin color)
There are other eligibility requirements. A final decision on whether you qualify will be made after you speak with the study center. If you would like to see if you might be eligible, please 718-517-2176.
Specialists all over the US and Canada are seeking participants.

A clinical research study is conducted to learn whether a new drug, treatment, or method is safe and effective for people who have certain ailments or illnesses. These can also be called clinical trials or clinical studies.
Clinical research helps answer specific questions about an investigational drug, such as:
Is it effective?
Is it more effective than another established treatment?
Is it safe and/or what are its side effects?
The development of a new medicine can take more than 10 years. Although long, this length of time is vital to ensure each medicine is tested enough.
